The Brothers Naudet document death and destruction on 9/11/01. They had been documenting the initiation of FDNY probationary firefighter Tony Benetatos through the summer of 2001, and on 9/11 they caught the crash of an airplane into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. This film documents Firefighter Benetatos ' initiation rite of manhood, and perhaps America ' s loss of childhood as well.
